Validate Schema Wizard

The Validate Schema Wizard helps you ensure that all parts of your schema are up to date and will work with the actual underlying database(s). Run it across the entire schema to ensure it is consistent and properly matches the backend databases.

The wizard can be accessed by the 'Tools/Wizards/Schema Validation Vizard ...' menu (from DA Schema Modeler) or by clicking the "Validate Schema" in the Schema Modeler's toolbar.

Connection

The connection screen allows you to choose the connection(s) to test. It might be all available connections or some limited subset. Clicking the "Next" button will run a series of extensive tests to confirm that your schema is up to date.

Successful finish

This screen will be shown if your schema is valid and you can use it in your application.

Finish with errors

If you see this screen, it means that some errors were found during schema validation. You can find all messages logged to the message pane at the bottom of the Schema Modeler main window.
