This topic aims at providing an overview of the different sample applications available with RemObjects SDK. Some samples are shared or duplicated between the different editions, as to (optionally) illustrate cross-platform use of RemObjects SDK to let clients written for one platforms talk to servers created on another; other samples are edition-specific.

For shared samples, in general the client projects can work with any of the matching server versions; for example, the MegaDemo Clients on any platform can be used against either the .NET version or the Delphi version fo the MegaServer.

Where sensible, precompiled versions of the server samples are shipped with the client-only editions of RemObjects SDK (Xcode and Java). On Windows, these will run out of the box; on the Mac, these will require the Mono runtime to be installed.

On Windows, samples can be found under Shared Documents\RemObjects Samples\RemObjects SDK for Platform
On Mac OS X, samples can be found under /Developer/RemObjects Software/Samples/RemObjects SDK
